Screenings/Consulations
Alpenglow Therapy Center offers a free 15-minute phone consultation to determine if a speech therapy screening or evaluation is right for your child.
Evaluation
Evaluations are a powerful tool used by speech therapists to determine if there is a communication disorder present. They also help highlight each child’s unique strengths and weaknesses. Based on the results of the evaluation, speech therapy may or may not be recommended. Assessment results also assist the therapist in the creation of individualized goals and treatment plans.
Treatment
Alpenglow Therapy Center provides private speech and language therapy services, which can take place in your home, outdoors at a local at park, trailhead, sled hill, or indoors at a community location such as a library or restaurant.

Elevate Sessions
Ever wonder if there are strategies you could implement to make your home or play time more language-rich? Ever wonder how your friend taught their child *that* skill and why your child runs away from you every time you try to introduce it? Family, environment, and play are important parts to speech and language development. Elevate (parent coaching) sessions will help you learn more about communication development. Our therapists will provide you with strategies and suggestions to help bolster your interactions and environment to be the most language-rich as possible. Parents are doing “right things” more than they realize; our goal is to elevate the skills you already have and provide suggestions on how to move your child to the next communication milestone. Although parent coaching can occur within speech therapy treatments, Elevate sessions are a great supplement to therapy and can be done with all parents and/or caregivers.
Field Trip Fridays
Meet your therapist at an extra special location for therapy services. Some locations may require an additional entrance fee. Services may be provided privately, with a sibling, or semi-private with another client. Field trips will provide additional opportunities for motivation, expanded language, social interaction, and elicit more self-initiation of communication.
